A mailing list seems like such a bothersome thing. Firstly, you have to research different options and decide which one works best for you. You have to decide if signing up for the mailing list rewards people with something, like a freebie. Then you have to plan out a series of messages, put together your sales funnel and set the whole system up. You may not be ready for that type of commitment. You may not be ready to start your sales funnel at all. If that’s not the part you’re at in your business, that’s fine. But, you still need a mailing list because there are other benefits.

The biggest reason everyone should have a mailing list is that it builds your email list. It’s an automated method of collecting email addresses from people who are interested in you and what you have to offer them. You don’t need to market. You don’t need to knock on doors or pick up phones. It’s a way that your target audience finds you.

Now, you would send out a blast email to everyone on the list, letting them know the exciting things you have in store.
